Joshua Chan

Previously Head of Finance, iflix, and CFO of Newswav Serial Entrepreneur: GamesFusion & Tribe App. Finance Advisor for various companies including Newswav, YYC Group, Esports Business Network, and Salty News Network.
He has diverse experience in both highly regulated (EY, YYC Group & Emery Oleochemicals) as well as innovative industries (iflix & Newswav). He was instrumental in building the finance operations at Newswav and iflix where he managed finance operation, treasury management, and had successfully led multiple funding rounds for both startups.
Joshua is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde.
Datin Shin Yap

Yap Shin Siang, also fondly known as Shin Yap, is a leading authority in GST implementations and consultancy in Malaysia. She is also the Group CEO and Managing Partner of YYC, a strong accounting firm supporting businesses for more than 42 years.
Trained by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD), and having passed the examination for GST Consultants organised by the RMCD and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Shin, along with YYC’s GST support team, works closely with associates in Singapore which have dealt with Singapore GST for more than 20 years to design GST Implementation Programs for Malaysian businesses.
Shin has helped many Large and Medium size companies in understanding and implementing GST to avoid unnecessary mistakes during GST implementation.
Yap Zhi Chau
Chairman, Co-Founder
Chau Yap is the Group Chairman whose expertise lies in strategic planning. Overseeing the business direction of YYC with over 20 years of experience in the industry, Chau is currently developing YYC in terms of business and charting its marketing strategy, taking the business to greater heights.
Chau obtained his bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial at Central Queensland University Australia in 2002. As a certified chartered accountant, Chau is also a member of CPA Australia and the Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA).
Aside from overseeing the business and marketing areas of YYC, Chau is also involved in the investments. His experience in other businesses range from F&B Franchise, Properties, Sports to Website.
